Michael A. Bolinger is the author of "The Doxan" science fiction trilogy for adults and young adults.  His debut novel "The Doxan" was published in 2020. The second novel, "The Wormwood Variant," was published in 2022, and the third novel, "Dust in the Cosmic Wind," was published in 2026.  He was born in Davenport, Iowa and grew up along the Mississippi River.  Many of the memories and places from his childhood have found their way onto the pages of his action packed novels.  In addition to writing science fiction, he enjoys reading, traveling, poetry and listening to music.  Michael currently lives in Texas with his wife Elaine.

The first science fiction book Michael remembers reading as a young boy was "The Three Seated Spaceship" written by Louis Slobodkin and first published in 1962.  He credits that book with turning him into a Lost in Space (original TV series) fan, a Trekkie and a Star Wars devotee.
